Collecting data and reporting outcomes is as integral to our industry as training and lending.
Microlending
Many major banks are not offering business loans under $250,000. CAMEO’s network of microlenders are stepping up to fill this financing gap for California’s smallest businesses.
Working with WIBs
Members are encouraged and supported to initiate and build relationships with their local Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs) to serve California’s unemployed entrepreneurs.
Veterans: Be Your Own Boss (BYOB)
Entrepreneurship is a great option for veterans who know what it takes to succeed, but may need flexibility.
Think Big! Women Entrepreneurs
¡Viva! was launched in 2007 to provide training, technical assistance, and peer support to help CAMEO members better reach and serve the Latino market of entrepreneurs. In 2011, we changed focus to spotlight women of color entrepreneurs and in 2012, we focused on women veterans.
