Online Practitioner Workshop

Successful fundraising comes from using a smart, strategic approach. This web- and tele-workshop will cover how to analyze your current funding profile and how to create an ideal portfolio of dedicated funders and funding sources. The trainer is Sheilah Rogers, former CEO of the West Company, a highly successful microenterprise program in rural Northern California. Under her leadership, West Company participated in the first FIELD studies and MicroTest, operated a Women's Business Center and a Small Business Development Center, and has been mentioned in numerous industry publications as a model program. Join us as we learn and brainstorm how to make our fundraising more effective.

When: Thursday, February 23, 2006, 10:00am-11:30am PDT

Where: This is a virtual, web-based event and teleconference-you will be able to access the event from anywhere with a telephone and an Internet connection. Please make sure your system meets the technical requirements for joining this workshop.

Who Should Participate: Any and all microenterprise staff involved with fundraising and development, especially, CEOs, Executive Directors, Board Members, and Fundraising/Development Directors, Staff and Consultants.

Cost: The workshop cost is $50, but thanks to the sponsorship of Wells Fargo Bank it is only $25 for California microenterprise practitioners.
Note: Access to one phone and computer line for both trainings is included with your registration fee. As many people as can participate on one phone/internet line are welcome to attend for no additional charge. If you desire additional phone/internet lines, they will be charged at $15 each. This covers our costs for providing the extra lines.
