Operating a Successful Microenterprise Program"
will be offered by CAMEO September 29th and 30th at PlumpJack Squaw
Valley Inn. Trainers will be provided by Women's Economic Ventures.
This two-day training is designed for those who want to start a
microenterprise program in their community, board and staff of emerging
programs, and new staff of established programs. Participants will
be provided a valuable resource notebook, experiential exercises
in training entrepreneurs, and the opportunity to network with their
peers.
This practitioner training will cover:
- Best practices in setting up and operating a microenterprise program
- Client screening, assessment and referral
- Program funding, marketing and outreach
- Support services for microentrepreneurs such as mentoring and support groups
Participants will also receive information on the latest trends of microenterprise standards and evaluation.

Fees The registration fee will be offered at a discount to CAMEO members for $175, with additional staff being able to attend for $90. Non-CAMEO members can attend for $225, with additional staff being able to attend for $115. There will be an additional charge of $25.00 per registration for all registrations received after September 15th. The registration fee includes deluxe continental breakfast, lunch and all training materials.
