A state microenterprise intermediary
has created opportunities for new funding in Virginia, Montana,
Oregon, and Nebraska. What can it do in California?
In the fall of 2002, CAMEO received funding from the National Fund
for Enterprise Development, a division of the Corporation for Enterprise
Development, to test the feasibility of this concept. In December,
the National Economic Development and Law Center (NEDLC) conducted
a survey about the needs of the field. Phone interviews were held
with 38 practitioners, funders, and advocates. Click here
