CAMEO collaborates with other organizations. Together we create a solid infrastructure that is crucial to the success of the micro sector.

  • Association of Enterprise Opportunity (AEO):
    AEO is the national counterpart to CAMEO.  They advocate in DC and are working to support Micro Enterprise on a national level. 
  • Community Development Financial Institutions Fund:
    CDFI is program of the U.S. Treasury Department. Its mission is to expand the capacity of financial institutions to provide credit, capital, and financial services to under-served populations and communities in the United States. 
  • The Corporation for Enterprise Development : CFED promotes asset-building and economic opportunity strategies, primarily in low-income and distressed communities, that bring together community practice, public policy, and private markets in new and effective ways. CFED fosters widely shared and sustainable economic well-being.
  • FIELD:
    Micro Enterprise Fund for Innovation, Effectiveness, Learning and Dissemination. A Micro Enterprise research project of the Aspen Institute. 
  • Kauffman Foundation: Kauffman helps individuals attain economic independence by advancing educational achievement and entrepreneurial success.
  • Public Policy Institute of California: PPIC is a non-profit, nonpartisan think tank dedicated to informing and improving public policy in California through independent, objective, nonpartisan research.
  • Small Business Administration:
    The SBA is an independent agency of the federal government which aids, counsels, assists and protects the interests of small business concerns, and preserves free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.
